Person related by blood, adoption or marriage  the first degree of consanguinity;
Person who has a child in common; domestic partner; person who has a biological or legal parent and child relationship, including  a natural parent, adoptive parent, stepparent, stepchild, grandparent or grandchild; person who is acting or has acted as a guardian; person who is currently in a dating or ongoing intimate relationship; or, LEO

Burden of proof for Emergency Order or Ex Parte Order

Preponderance of the evidence that respondent
(a)  poses an imminent risk of causing a self-inflicted injury or a personal injury to another person by possessing, controlling, purchasing or otherwise acquiring any firearm;
(b) engaged in high-risk behavior; and
(c) Less restrictive options have been exhausted or are not effective.
